We make your food fresh as you order it! We use only the best products to ensure our customers enjoy the best quality food we can serve. We believe we have the best coney you will ever taste. Pair that with homemade root beer made with 100% cane sugar and an order of fresh-cut french fries, and you’ve got a meal you’ll love!
Our Menu
We offer eight different kinds of sandwiches, over ten different kids of side orders, five dinners, a variety of soft drinks (including our delicious homemade root beer), milkshakes, and hand-dipped floats.
Hot Dogs
Hot dog toppings: homemade coney sauce, onion, mustard, ketchup, relish, cole slaw, sauerkraut, fire sauce, cheese (american, swiss, or cheddar), bacon crumbles
Sandwiches
Shredded chicken, perch, veal, pork fritter, ham, roast beef, pickle dog
Toppings include cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, pickle, mustard, ketchup, or Miracle Whip.
French Fries
Add hand-cut daily fresh french fries to any order or make it a basket with fries and cole slaw. Make your fries extra special by ordering a cheesy fry (with cheddar and bacon) or a sloppy fry (adding coney sauce, cheddar, and bacon).
Side Orders
Mushrooms, onion chips, fried pickles, fried cauliflower, mini corn dogs, chicken tenders, clams, shrimp, cole slaw, chef salad, side salad, potato chips, popcorn
Dinners
Dinner choices include perch, 8-oz serving of shrimp, 8-oz serving of clam, 3-piece chicken tenders, and 6-piece mini corn dogs.
All dinners include the main item, french fries, cole slaw, roll with butter, and dipping sauce. Other side order can be substituted at an additional charge.
Beverages
Homemade root beer, ice tea, orange drink, Pepsi, diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, pink lemonade, Dr. Pepper, Mist Twist, and canned diet A&W root beer.
All soft drinks can be floats.
Shake flavors include strawberry, root beer, peanut butter, buckeye, chocolate, vanilla, and Oreo.

A classic old-school drive-in. The food is vintage drive-in fare: coneys, fries, floats, and homemade root beer. Service was quick, and the portions were good. Prices are reasonable. If you’re looking to indulge in a bit of culinary nostalgia or just want some fresh-cut french fries, look no further.

Our History
The business was opened by Barb and Bob Fordyce as an A&W Rootbeer Stand. It has a very limited menu consisting of hot dogs, shredded chicken sanwiches, popcorn, Jones potato chips, and homemade rootbeer and orange drink.

Joann and Bud Bemiller bought the business and ran it until 1984, when they sold it to their son Steve and his wife, Deb.
the A&W franchise was dropped, and Ashland-Wooster Drive-In was born and brought the addition of the drive thru, many new menu items, and a new look.
Steve Bemiller sold the business to us, Mindi White and Frank Keener. We are excited to continue providing the excellent food the community has come to love. Our goals are to provide a great place to work for our employees and to give our clients the best customer service possible.

We are halfway between Cleveland and Columbus at exit 186 (State Route 250) just off of 71 – two miles west on State Route 250/Main Street on the right-hand side.
